Albertus Magnus College: 2024 US News & World Report Best Online Programs

Both Online Bachelor’s and Master’s Programs Heralded

New Haven, Conn., February 7, 2024 – For the fourth year in a row, US News & World Report ranks Albertus Magnus College on its Best Online Programs list.  Included this year are Best Online Bachelor’s Programs, Best Online Bachelor’s in Business, Best Online Master’s in Business, and Best Online Master’s in Criminal Justice.

The rankings cover fully online degree programs, defined by US News as those with a vast majority of required coursework that can be completed via distance education courses. Standards are measured by being commensurate with quality in-person programs properly adapted to remote learning.

Highlights of the survey include:

  • Best Online Bachelor’s Programs:  Albertus jumped 15 spots in this category.
  • Best Online Bachelor’s in Business Programs:  This is the first time Albertus has appeared in this ranking, recognized for its overall academic quality.
  • Best Online Master’s in Business:  The Tagliatela School of Business and Leadership adds the US News Online honors to its long list of distinguished achievements.
  • Best Online Master’s in Criminal Justice: This national ranking adds to recent accolades, including being is ranked one of the best in the country by Forbes Advisor, where Albertus’ online program earned the #5 spot nationally and the top spot  in the State of Connecticut.

Earlier in this 2023-2024 academic year, along with Forbes Advisor, Money named Albertus one of its Best Colleges in America and US News & World Report named Albertus one of its “Best Colleges” in its overall rankings – receiving special recognition in the area of social mobility and undergraduate teaching.
